The recovery of secondary raw materials (recycling) and the reuse of used components (reuse/remarketing) have gained significantly in importance because of the global shortage of raw materials. TEQPORT facilitates these approaches in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner. We are the leading asset recovery manager supporting the major infrastructure companies in Germany and Europe.

 

TEQPORT's target customers have a large number of cross-regional (interconnected) sites and a wide range of heterogeneous and usually high-value waste materials that have to be recovered and recycled due to normal ageing and/or technological progress. These companies are aware of their potential and ready to support activities to tap into or exploit the potential, but they certainly do not view these activities as their core business.

 

TEQPORT is therefore able to offer and perform the full range of services throughout the complex process as a general contractor – from decommissioning, recovery, logistics, processing or reworking according to requirements (including the necessary auxiliary services if necessary, such as certified data erasure) through to usage (recycling, remarketing, re-use) through a comprehensive network of subcontractors.

Only by doing so can we promote sustainability and prevent devices ending up in illegal landfills. Furthermore, we cooperate with renowned institutions that occupy themselves intensively with the subject of recycling, also to ensure a scientifically accurate basis for our activities in this area.

TEQPORT itself possesses an approval for mediation within the meaning of section 53 KrWG [Recycling Management and Waste Act].
